About Me
I’m Marsha Amanova. I’m currently living in Pugwash, Nova Scotia.
I work at the public library and manage our local Farmers’ Market.
I was born not too far from here, but I’ve lived in many places, for long periods and short. Sackville, New Brunswick. Edmonton, Alberta. Paphos, Cyprus. Peace River, Alberta. Pusan, South Korea. Stettler, Alberta.
You might know me from the University of Alberta, where I got an English degree and worked for ONEcard and Ancillary Services.
Or from Walterdale Theatre, where I volunteered for many years and performed in a number of shows.
I worked at Red Robin slinging burgers, wings, beer and milkshakes for more than a decade.
I’m an only child. Pisces. My parents live 10 minutes away.
My love and I live in a flat in a storied building with amazing views. I have no children (but my love has a daughter who is incredible).
I sing and play guitar. I knit (mostly socks) and read (mostly fiction) and go for walks.
