Jelly

It was windy as hell today but I got a few more plants planted.

Lupins!

First strawberries of the season!

We call the mourning doves “derps” because they are so derpy. Check out this beauty I caught eating fallen sunflower seeds out of our windowsill

“Radical insecurity” is our reality, but that’s just a condition of being alive, we are dealing with it all of the time.

If you decide to read it, I’d love to hear what you think.

It’s a regular occurrence, but I am still astonished when these huge ships come into the Harbour of our little village to be filled with road salt!

It’s been cold and grey and rainy all week and it is definitely affecting my mood 😕

Taco bowls! I was hungry and forgot to take a photo. One of our favourite meals, with yummy leftover options: burritos, quesadillas.

Love these two old guys with their greying beards❤️

21 May 2026

We mark our anniversary every year on May 21. It’s the day we went on a date to see Ben Folds at the Winspear Centre. I think we were both hooked that night.

We didn’t take our first couple selfie until June 15. Check out these two lovebirds in 2014 💕

Stepped out the front door this evening for an after-dinner stroll and saw a turkey vulture soaring overhead! Soon joined by a second one and moments later they were gone. Too busy gaping to try to take a photo.

May long weekend. Gorgeous weather again today. Helped mom and dad with the garden, had a bbq and a backyard fire. Love this life.
